Shutter Solutions for Your Home and Your Lifestyle

Roll shutters not only add beauty and value to homes, but will provide additional living space by enclosing porches and balconies. That can also mean "no more scrubbing" as the shutters effectively block out rain and sun that cause mold and mildew buildup when you're not at home.

Rolling shutters are custom designed and precision engineered. Roll down shutters are the most convenient type of shutter to operate and provides maximum storm protection against driving rain, wind and flying debris.

The slats feature adjustable, built-in air vents which allow total environmental control. Roll shutters reduce energy loss and damage to furnishings and carpet by effectively blocking out heat and the damaging rays of the sun. By providing a dead air space between the shutter and window, you get warm and cold weather insulation which reduces air conditioning and heat usage.

Slats are the horizontal strips that move up or down when the roll shutter opens or closes. The slats interconnect and normally include perforations along the hinged sections. Leaving these openings exposed when the shutter is down allows air and light to flow freely through the slats. Closing the shutter fully seals the slats.

Some slats are flexible. Their flexibility is controlled by placing removable or permanent vertical supports (stormbars) in front of and behind the shutter wall.

The accordion shutter is a very strong, durable shutter that moves horizontally between an upper and lower track. Interlocking aluminum blades made up the protective wall of the shutter. Every other pair of blades has a wheel assembly attached at the top, allowing the connected blades to be easily moved.
